Buy the 100% waterproof Rab Valiance Jacket which has a pertex outer and taped seams, making it both very warm, as well as waterproof. In our range of women’s down jackets, we also have the Rab deep cover parka, all the warmth of a down jacket but nice and long, going all the way down to your knees.

If it's a thinner women’s down jacket you are after then the Hooded Rab Microlight Alpine and Altus are for you. Thinner than standard down jackets, they can be worn either as an outer layer or a mid layer under a waterproof shell. Apart from the valiance jacket, we do not recommend that our women’s down jackets are used in very wet conditions. Although ok in a very light shower, they are designed for cold yet dry weather.
