The Helm Compact 1 from Wild Country is a excellent technical 1 person tent designed for those who want to keep the weight down but still have a little more space.
This great 3 season tent weighs only 1.99kg and has a pack size of just 35cm x 17cm. It's free standing structure offers superior stability when the weather turns and when it does you will be glad of the 4000mm hydrostatic head, thanks to the new 68d PES ripstop PU WR Solution Dyed, PFC free fabric.
The poles are made from 8.5mm Superflex alloy offering the tent even more strength. The pegs are also made from alloy. The large interior offers good headroom with plenty of ventilation too, to help reduce condensation. It's no wonder that this tent won the Trail Magazine Gear of the Year and Best Value Award.
