The women's Velez Grid is perfect for when you are undertaking activities that switch between fast action and then slower paced sections. This is where you need a base layer that breathes and keeps you cool when you need it too, but then also keeps you warm when you are less active.
Made using Parameta G fabric the Velez grid is like two fabrics in one. When worn with a windproof outer the micro grids trap air and help keep you nice and warm. When worn as an outer the gaps in the grid allow air and wind to pass through keeping you cool. This is also the case when you are working hard as the grid allows moisture to wick away and ensure you stay dry. The mesh panels under the arm and across the back are designed for this purpose, as they are strategically placed where we sweat the most. Clever stuff.
The Velez Grid also provides reliable head and neck protection with its close-fitting, two-piece hood and overlapping neckline. Whether the hood is in use or not, this innovative design creates a snood effect for superior defence. A superb piece of technical clothing.
