This three-section aluminium trekking pole combines the celebrated lightness and refined slim profile of the Makalu Lite platform with the unmistakable luxury and natural responsiveness of a premium cork grip—delivering a trekking experience that evolves and improves with every journey.
At the heart of this model lies the Aergon Air grip, meticulously crafted from natural cork. Cork is far more than an aesthetic choice; it's a functional material that actively responds to your environment. In warm conditions, it remains naturally cool against your palm, while in cold weather it radiates gentle warmth.
Throughout long days on exposed ridges and technical trails, cork actively manages moisture from your hand, maintaining comfort and grip security when synthetic materials would falter. Over time, the cork naturally moulds to the contours of your hand, creating a bespoke fit that improves with use—a feature unique to natural materials.
The Aergon Air geometry delivers ergonomic support that adapts to your movement. The extended grip zone accommodates both standard trekking posture and the higher hand placement favoured during steep ascents, eliminating the need to reposition or adjust your grip as terrain demands change.
The slimmer 16|14|12 mm tapered section construction keeps overall weight minimal while delivering a more responsive, less cumbersome feel underfoot compared to standard Makalu models. We use Royal Mail and DPD Parcel services to dispatch goods to customers. We will use the most appropriate service available for the goods being dispatched these services normally require a signature on receipt of the package(s). We reserve the right to use alternative methods at our discretion.
Normal delivery days are Monday – Friday. Orders are delivered within 3-5days using our normal delivery service. Next day delivery is available at additional cost. Orders received before 12pm can be processed for next day delivery we will telephone you if this service is not achievable for your particular order. Our current website carriage charges are based on order value.
