Weather resistance comes courtesy of a GORE-TEX waterproof membrane that breathes as well as it shields—critical for British moorlands and unpredictable summit conditions. The redesigned Vibram TC5+ outsole features aggressive traction lugs that bite into wet rock, loose scree, and muddy descents with confidence, while the updated lug geometry actively sheds debris to maintain grip when it matters most.

Underfoot comfort has been substantially boosted. A 30% increase in FloatPro foam cushioning absorbs impact mile after mile, whilst a precision-engineered FlexPlate locks down torsional movement for lateral stability on uneven ground. The result is a shoe that feels responsive rather than sluggish—ideal for trail runners transitioning to mixed hiking or hikers seeking speed without sacrifice.

A reinforced heel counter cradles your foot during technical descents, and the full-length rock plate guards against sharp stones and roots.
