Engineered for alpine expeditions and mountain adventures, the men's Mountain Equipment Highpile Hooded Jacket channels the spirit of 1970s and 80s Himalayan climbing—when innovation mattered more than budget. Built from 100% recycled post-consumer high-loft fleece, this jacket delivers exceptional warmth, stretch, and moisture-wicking in a silhouette that works equally well on remote ridges or urban streets.
The soft, breathable fleece traps heat efficiently while drying quickly after strenuous climbing or hiking. Durable weatherproof softshell overlays reinforce the shoulders and high-wear zones, preventing abrasion and thinning whilst nodding to Mountain Equipment's heritage. Zippered handwarmer pockets offer refuge for cold fingers, and a grown-on hood provides critical wind protection on exposed terrain.
Designed around Alpine Fit with generous stretch throughout, the jacket layers seamlessly under shells or hard weather gear without restriction. Whether you're breaking camp in the shadow of Annapurna, navigating knife-edge ridges, or tackling British winter mountains, the Highpile Hooded Jacket performs as a versatile, hardworking mid-layer that rewards years of use.
