Engineered for alpine versatility, the men's Mountain Equipment Superflux Hooded Jacket combines down-like warmth with synthetic resilience.
Built from 100% recycled POLARLOFT® Featherless insulation, it delivers exceptional heat retention without the moisture vulnerability of traditional down—critical when conditions shift from dry peaks, to wet Scottish moorland.
The DRILITE® LOFT outer shell is fully windproof and highly water resistant while maintaining breathability, preventing interior condensation during sustained exertion. Layer it as a primary insulator on crisp, stable days or as a premium mid-layer beneath a shell jacket when crossing exposed ridges in snow and driving rain.
Lightweight and compressible, the Superflux packs into its own hand pocket and clips to harness karabiner loops, making it the jacket you'll always carry but rarely regret leaving home. Whether hillwalking UK summits, tackling 4000m Alpine climbs, or embarking on remote expeditions in unpredictable terrain, this is the backup layer that performs when conditions demand it most.
