Nikwax Waterproofing Wax for Leather is a premium conditioning treatment designed for smooth leather footwear and gear. This is the 50th anniversary, limited edition tin.
This specialist wax restores water repellency while reviving the natural breathability of leather, making it ideal for hiking boots, leather jackets, and adventure wear that's seen heavy use.
The formula penetrates and conditions leather fibres, maintaining structural support and flexibility while preventing the cracking and drying that occurs with repeated exposure to wet conditions. Unlike silicone-based alternatives, it works with your leather rather than against it, preserving the material's natural properties.
Apply directly to clean, dry leather using a soft cloth or brush. The wax activates instantly—no lengthy curing required—and a small amount covers significant surface area. Perfect for pre-season preparation or routine maintenance between trips.
Non-toxic and completely PFAS-free, it's safe for your gear and the environment. The limited edition tin makes this an essential addition to any outdoor enthusiast's care kit, whether you're breaking in new boots or extending the life of trusted equipment.
Trusted by climbers, hikers, and expeditionary teams across the UK and beyond.
