Rab Valiance Down Waterproof Jacket Mens Black

Engineered for relentless British winters, the Rab men's Valiance Down Waterproof Jacket combines premium down insulation with genuine storm protection—ideal for fell walking, daily commutes, and extended outdoor ventures where reliability matters.

At its core sits 700 fill power recycled down, treated with Grangers hydrophobic finish to resist moisture and maintain loft even when damp seeps in. The 2-layer Pertex® Shield outer shell delivers 20,000mm hydrostatic head waterproofing and 20,000g/m²/24hr breathability, meaning rain and wind stay out while perspiration escapes. This balance keeps you dry and comfortable without the clammy feel of lesser jackets.

Stitch-through baffle construction distributes insulation evenly across your torso, eliminating cold spots and dead zones. A close-fitting neck baffle and lightweight adjustable hood seal warmth in without bulk, while soft internal stretch cuffs and a dropped rear hem protect your lower back on longer days. Two YKK zipped hand pockets and an internal security pocket keep essentials close.

The jacket's regular fit layers comfortably over base and mid layers—essential for active mountain days when you're adjusting insulation on the move. An insulated zip baffle shields the YKK VISLON AquaGuard front zip from wind penetration, and dual-sided rear adjustment lets you dial in fit as conditions change.

Built with Responsible Down Standard (RDS) certified recycled down and bluesign® approved treatments, the Valiance reflects Rab's commitment to performance without compromise to environmental responsibility.

For UK outdoor enthusiasts who demand one jacket to handle wet hillsides, cold valleys, and unpredictable weather—the Valiance earns its place in your kit year after year. One of our biggest sellers here at BCH, and rightly so.
